Music Hack Day SF 2013

in San Francisco, CA

The MQK takes a melody played into the mic and simulates key presses that correspond with certain interval sequences.

Use your violin, your voice, or your bassoon instead of that boring old laptop keyboard. Intervals are measured in scale tones resulting in interesting and natural melodies that can be shaped to by the "typer" even as she inputs precisely the letters she wants.

MQK uses a relative pitch detection system, so you don't have to sing in tune vis a vis absolute pitch, but relative pitch accuracy helps.

Now brush off your bass clarinet and match your BPM to your WPM!
