Our project consists of two remotely operated mobile robots. They develop entertainment value for potential users by allowing them to manoeuver the robots, aim, and fire a dart turret at one another's robots.
The user interface consists of a browser windows with a fullscreen video feed from the robot being controlled (Android + TokBox) and keybindings that and keybindings that send post requests to a server near the robots. The server then parses these requests, calls UNIX shell scripts to send commands to an M2 microcontroller over a serial connection. The M2 microcontroller serves as a RF transmitter that then sends the appropriate commands to the robots' M2 microcontrollers. These M2 microcontrollers then control the robots' turrets and motion.
