The Web is now much more than a static set of entities representing unchanging information. It's now our main communication platform with the ability to integrate realtime messaging, voice, video and much more.
For this hackathon we want to see the web used as a true realtime communication platform. By using your PHP skills along with Pusher and Twilio's awesome APIs we can't wait to see what you build.
The Hackathon will consists of a main hack on Friday night with demos and the main prize awarded on Saturday.
We encourage you to use the space for hacking on your own projects - you don't have to take part in the main hackaton. If you happen to build something cool with Pusher and/or Twilio at any point during the conference there are prizes to be won. More information below.
The hackerspace will be open and available for general hacking between 09:30 on Friday 22nd and 16:30 on Saturday 23rd.
Whilst we encourage you to enter the main hackathon you are free to use the space to chill and hack on your own projects. Please do have a chat with the guys from Pusher and Twilio.
